Over the years we’ve seen many bingo sites shut down, rename or leave the network (although why they’d want to switch from Virtue Fusion to something else is beyond us). This page lists details of these sites for those of you who are curious about what happened to on old stable mate from the network.
Closed Bingo Sites
The first set of sites we’ll look at are those that have either closed up shop entirely or removed their bingo sections.
Totesport
The guys at the Tote started downplaying their bingo had a good year or so before the finally switched off access to the network. For a while it was accessible through menu within their games page, but the inevitable next step eventually followed and they closed it for good. But all is not lost as the Tote are owned by Betfred who also have a bingo site on the network which you can find here.
Nordic Bet & Betsson
The departure of Nordic Bet from the UK market probably didn’t come as a massive shock to anyone, especially given the fact that their name strongly suggests they have a preference for the Nordic countries. Bingo is far more popular in the UK than in Scandinavia so the bingo site was shut down shortly after the Brits were excluded from playing.
Betsson is a very similar story and should be unsurprising considering that they’re owned by the same people.
Beacon Bingo
Beacon Bingo are a high street operator who ran an online bingo site on the Virtue Fusion network for a few years but never really embraced the digital world and returned to being a high street only operator a few years ago.
BOGOF Bingo
BOGOF Bingo was a sister site to Bucky Bingo and run by the same group for many years. The site closed in March 2019.
Love Your Bingo & Golden Hat Bingo
This site was operated by 8 Ball Games Limited – a small company that ran a handful of slot and bingo sites (most likely white labels) some of which were on the Virtue Fusion network but also sites on Jumpman, Cozy and GTECH. Many of their sites have now been closed whilst others appear to have been sold.
Benidorm Bingo
Thanks to the television comedy show you may already have some preconceptions about anything Benidorm related and the bingo site lived up to it’s name, in spirit at least. And as package holidays must come to an end some day, so did Benidorm Bingo.
Winner & Titan Bet
These two siblings shut up shop entirely in 2018.
Migrated
Virgin Bingo
Virgin Bingo announced left the Virtue Fusion network on 23rd January 2013. The move came after the Virgin Games brand was sold to Gamesys who operate their own bingo network under the same name.
Unibet, Maria & Bingo.com
In 2015 the Unibet brands moved over to a new software that was set up in partnership with Relax Gaming.
