If you’re someone who tends to play a lot of bingo on various sites then you may well have encountered the Rush Bingo Room before as it’s not exclusive to Gala Bingo. There’s no wonder that so many people like it, however, as the name sums up exactly what you should expect from this particular game. This is a fast-paced, full-on action version of bingo. The balls are drawn as quickly as seems possible and the calls come at thick and fast.
There’s no particularly consistent theme to the game, but the fact that the graphics in the room have a rocket and a road with traffic lights on should tell you everything you need to know. This is all about speed and if you miss the start of a game then don’t worry too much, the room is open 24/7 and games get underway every two and a half minutes. It’s a 90 ball game.
Playing the Game
Because this is all about how quickly things can get done the room is more about practicality than looking fancy. Tickets sit underneath the window where the balls are drawn from and line up with ten of them in columns with five tickets in each. They’re plain tickets and you’ll be ticking off lines rather than patterns or anything different like that.
Prizes
Because this is all about speed and efficiency they haven’t tried to do anything too clever with the game. It’s played out in the same manner as other straight-laced 90 ball games, so you’ll be looking for a line fist, then 2 lines and the House. If you’re fortunate enough to win but someone else does too then you’ll share the jackpot.
Features
The Rush room has one main feature that you’ll want to keep your eye out for – the ability to BET on the ball that ends up being used to call House. BET is written in capitals there because that’s what the feature is called.
Do you think the ball will be Odd or Even? You can bet varied amounts on that outcome with odds of 1/1. Do you think it will be higher or lower than 46? Again, you can place a varied amount of money depending on the price of the game on which one it will be and then be paid out at 1/1 if you’re right.
If you prefer slightly longer odds then you might want to consider which colour the House ball will be. You can choose from yellow, red, blue, pink, green, or purple and bet a differing amount with odds of 5/1. Alternatively you can take a punt on whether or not the winning ball will be a ‘Perfect Pair’, which is to say it’s one of 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77 or 88. The odds on that are longer than it not being, so you’re offered odds of 10/1 for that outcome.
Obviously you can bet on as many or as few of those options as you’d like to and you’re entitled to not bet on any of them. The only thing worth noting is that you have to have bought tickets for the game in order to take part in the BET feature of Rush.
Jackpots
The Rush Bingo Room doesn’t have any kind of linked jackpot like some of the bigger games on the Gala site. There is a jackpot that rolls over from game to game, however, and you win it if you get House on less than a given amount of calls. You’ll be able to see on the game screen what the number of the ‘Energiser Jackpot’ is. Say it’s 31, if you get House on 31 calls or less then you win the jackpot. Obviously, as with any other type of jackpot, is someone else does too then you’ll end up sharing it.
